This is my third post in the Analytics theme. Self-Service Analytics is the need of the hour. Empowering end-users so that they can be most productive should be every organisation's goal, but practical realities prevent this from happening.
In this post, I will discuss the four major impediments that organisations have to overcome, to implement Self-Service Analytics.
In my capacity as a Strategic Data Management advisor, I spend a significant amount of time with end-users, typically from the business and operations teams, observing them as they work and interviewing them to gather information. This gives me an opportunity to understand what they do, the types of data they use and what their challenges are and helps me develop targeted strategies and solutions.
